In-Person Visits

Dear Friends & Families,

We are happy to report that the California Department of Public Health has modified guidance on visitation. At the Vineyards, we are in the process of preparing to resume in-person visitation with the required safety measures.

– The Visitation must be prescheduled (No drop-in visits).

– Visitation will only be for residents in the Green Zone.

– New Visitation Protocols are projected to start on Wednesday 6/16/2021 but will remain dependent on the continued endorsement by the California Department of Public Health and the Alameda County Department of Public Health.

Vaccinated Visitors:

If you are vaccinated you will have a choice to visit in the room for 30 minutes, under the outdoor tent or in the visitation room. For these visits you will be screened, wear a surgical mask, reusable PPE, be asked to physically distance and movement in the facility will be limited to the room that you are visiting and then directly exit after the visit. You will have to show proof of your vaccination at the time of the visit.

Unvaccinated Visitors:

If you are unvaccinated, you will have the choice to visit for 30 minutes under our outdoor tent with a barrier or in the scheduled meeting room with a barrier. For these visits, you will be screened, wear a surgical mask, eye protection, and reusable PPE, be asked to physically distance and movement in the facility will be limited to the room that you are visiting, and then directly exit after the visit. You will be asked to provide proof of a negative COVID test within seven days of the scheduled visit. If you are unable to get a test in the community you are welcome to come on Sunday or Monday for a test at the facility. You need to bring your medical ID card for this test.

**Children under the age of 12 may only visit in the outdoor tent and must follow social distancing guidelines throughout the visit.
